We kick September off with a New Moon in Virgo on September 6th at 5:51 PM PST. If there was ever a time to get ultra-organized and improve your processes, it would be now! Virgo is a detail-oriented sign that adores routines. Could you benefit from a little extra organization?

This New Moon will occur at 14 degrees of Virgo so if you have any planets between 12 and 16 degrees of Virgo, or even Pisces, this lunation could be influential for you. As always, scroll to the end of this article to find out what house this will hit for you. This is the area of life and business to consider the improvement of your routines and organization.

Just a few days later, Venus will move into investigative Scorpio on the 10th. Venus doesn’t love being in Scorpio, as it typically feels intense and possessive. However, from a business standpoint, this would be a great time to get your finances in order, as well as consider the health of your business overall.

Use this time to think about what your long-term goals are and what kind of legacy you want to build with your business. Your findings may show that actually, the trajectory you’re on won’t get you to that kind of legacy.

So what should you do?

Well, for starters, if you haven’t already, adopt the mindset that you run a company, not just a business or that you have a hobby. Then, clean up your business model. What do you actually want to do and how do you actually want to do it? Lastly, get your finances in order. If you don’t already have a very specific plan of what to do with your revenue, now is the time to put it in place. I’d also encourage you to take it one step further and consider working with a Financial Planner.

You might notice a notable shift in the energy around September 14th because Mars will be moving into Libra. What’s fascinating about this is that we will then have Venus and Mars in each other’s ruling sign. So Venus rules over Libra but is placed in Scorpio and Mars rules overs Scorpio but is placed in Libra. This is called mutual reception.

This brings a potentially noticeable shift because now Venus and Mars will be talking to each other, as well as try to manage each other. In your life and business, what this could look like is the two areas of your chart that are being highlighted (the Scorpio area and Libra area) might be having influence over each other.

For example, if you have Libra in the 5th house and Scorpio in the 6th, the actions (Mars) you take within your creative projects (5th house) might be inspired by the routines you’ve set in place (6th house) in accordance to your values (Venus). Or it could go the other way! Those creative actions could alter your existing routine.

Now, whether you notice a connection between these two areas or not, one thing that is likely to happen is a feeling of needing to take action or feeling aggressive in the area that Libra rules for you. With Mars in Libra, it is beneficial to always consider how these actions will impact others. Are you acting out of selfishness? Or is this the most harmonic thing that can be done?

On September 20th, we will have the Full Moon in Pisces and a bit of a break from the rigidity of Virgo. This Full Moon will occur at 4:54 PM PST at 28 degrees of Pisces. If you have planets at between 26 and 29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Gemini, you’ll want to make note of this lunation.

Full Moons ask us to celebrate our accomplishments, as well as determine what needs to be removed from our path. I recommend celebrating the area of life and business that Pisces rules for you, but I also recommend celebrating anything Piscean. These would be things like your intuition, your spiritual life, your willingness to help others, or even your imagination.

As for letting go of something, ponder on structure, routines, and hygiene. Is the Pisces area of your life overly structured and needs more flow? Is this area far too ambivalent that nothing happens there? Are you taking care of yourself or are you constantly tending to others’ needs? When’s the last time you’ve seen the doctor or the dentist?

Once the 22nd comes, you’ll no longer have the Sun giving the Virgo are of your chart life, as Sol will have moved on to Libra. With Mars also being here already, I’d say be prepared for more fire in the Libra part of your chart than you’re used to. The Sun is like a giant flashlight that breaths life force energy into wherever it is, and Mars is a generator, heating things up and pushing for action.

The two hottest planets in the chart being present together is a recipe for making change and boiling tempers. If you usually err on the side of not standing your ground or being indecisive, allow the Sun and Mars to heat you up. But if you’re usually the one shouting on the rooftops, lean more into the Libra nature of creating balance.

Finally, what no one wants to hear, we will have Mercury Retrograde in Libra from September 27th to October 18th. Because of this, I’d actually advise you to take your actions and make your decisions in the Libra part of your chart as early as possible. The combination of Mars and Mercury Retrograde in one place really isn’t the most ideal situation as it can cause us to act out in accordance to mixed messages that might not even be worth our attention.

It would be best to finish out September with a bit of rest and a review of how the Libra part of your life and business has been fairing over the past year. This is not the time to be making new moves.

Please locate both your Rising sign and your Sun sign to get a sense for how this month might impact you.
